Cold War Hotel Luxury
Calling all history enthusiasts - this hotel suite is truly one of a kind. The luxury room is situated in a 1960s plane at the Teuge airport in the Netherlands, but it's not just any aircraft - at almost 40 metres long, the suite for two occupies an entire Cold War-era East German plane, an Ilyushin 18. The Vliegtuigsuite never leaves the tarmac, but guests are guaranteed five-star elegance - the king-size room features three flat screen TVs, a sauna and a jacuzzi and gives guests access to the whole plane, including the cockpit. But the luxury room comes at a high price - an overnight stay for two including breakfast will set you back 350 Euros ($487/£304)
