And you thought Star Wars was a tad far fetched!
Boffins at NASA have teamed up with General Motors to develop the next-generation dexterous humanoid robot, aptly called Robonaut2 (or R2 for short!) Although he looks more like a buffed-up C-3PO – the new R2 has been designed to use the same tools as humans, which allows them to work safely side-by-side on Earth and in space.
